Hammamet

Today I want to show you some pictures of our stay in Hammamet, Tunisia.

Tunisia is a fusion of everything that makes North Africa enticing. It may not be as famous as a summer beach break destination but there’s something for everyone here. Either spend your vacation at one of the great sandy beaches, or do a sightseeing trip through the cities and to places like the pyramids.

Lose your way by following the scent of spice among the twisting maze of medina. Buy colorful traditional carpets, traditional dresses, or oriental figures on one of the daily markets around town. Or hoist yourself onto the high camel saddle and venture out into the desert dunes. The diversity of landscapes and experiences is Tunisias greatest appeal. Enjoy your evening in a glamorous palace-looking hotel decorated with mosaic and smoke a shisha, or choose a small coffee in the lively medina and drink many tiny apple tees. The age-old customs and traditions of Tunisian life are still alive and well for those who look for them.
